Shaima Abd Alghafoor has over 8 years of experience in technology and digital media. Shaima’s passion in the development of the MENA region lead her to numerous successes in her professional and voluntary career. Shaima previous worked at Yahoo and is currently a Strategic Partnershop Manager at Booking.com. In her spare time, Shaima gives lectures at prominent universities around the world in topics on growth hacking, marketing optimization and digital media and mentors startups towards growth. Shaima is also an advisor to the Girls in Tech organization. In her TEDx talk titled “Breaking the Glass Ceiling: A Women in Tech’s Promise”, Shaima highlights her personal goal to increase women’s involvement in the industry and advocates a sustainable environment that can drive a path to success
