سلمى المري خريجة جامعة القاهرة – كلية الفنون الجميلة، و هي مدرسة و موجهة تربية فنية متقاعدة و حاليا فنانة متفرغة. تسكن في مدينة دبي، إحدى أكثر المدن النابضة في الحركة الثقافية في الشرق الأوسط، كما تدير الفنانة غالاري خاص بها في حي دبي للتصميم "سنيار غالاري". تسعى سلمى و تعمل جاهدة كإحدى المضخات للحركة الثقافية الفنية في دبي و الإمارات، كما أنها تعمل لخلق أعمال فنية تحاكي الواقع و التأثير من تجاربها الشخصية و منها كتاب "ثبات".
Salma Al Marri is a graduate of Cairo University in Fine Arts. She is a retired Art Education teacher and General Instructor in Art Education in the Ministry of Education in the UAE, and is now a full time artist. She lives in Dubai, a hub for artistic talents in the MENA region, and is running Sinyar Gallery in Dubai Design District - D3. She works hard to be part of the enriching artistic movement in the UAE, and creating artistic expression and impression using her own personal experiences which includes her book “Endurance”.
